Mediation Services
Mediation is a process by which parties in conflict meet with a neutral mediator or co-mediators to discuss possible resolution of the conflict. During mediation, the mediator attempts to elicit information from the parties related to the issues, as well as each party’s desired outcome, in order to assist the parties in reaching compromises. The process allows the participants to create their own solutions without the stress and expense of litigation. Participants share the costs for mediation in most cases, thereby reducing the overall costs of resolving a conflict.

Family Mediation
When relationships deteriorate to the point of divorce proceedings, Mediation can help both parties develop workable solutions to such thorny issues as child custody, property distribution, alimony, and child support.
The process provides a safe environment for both parties to vent their emotions and frustrations while they work towards terms that minimize the negative impact on children and other family members.
With the divorcing couple actively participating in creating the agreement, everyone clearly understands what is expected of them. This builds a realistic set of expectations and encourages post-divorce cooperation that makes it easier to make parenting decisions.
